Ohio District 14 Partners Hosts the We the People of Ohio Tour
The We the People of Ohio Tour is a statewide art and civic engagement initiative that brings a giant, hand-painted replica of the Preamble of the U.S. Constitution to communities across Ohio. The artwork measures 18×18 feet and is displayed upright in a specially built frame, with a long fabric scroll trailing beneath — and everyone is invited to sign the scroll with a feathered pen.
This is a non-partisan celebration of our nation’s 250th anniversary. When the display completes its journey through Ohio, it will travel to Washington, DC. There, along with scrolls from communities around the country, it will be assembled and displayed as a nearly 700-foot-long art installation on July 4, 2026.
We’ll have string band music, pocket-sized copies of the Constitution to take home, and bubbles and chalk for children to enjoy. Come celebrate with us!
